I love searching Pinterest for fun things to do with toddlers. Especially since I have limited ideas of what I can do with a very busy little boy. I stumbled on this idea – painting with coloured ice blocks and it was great. You will need Water Jug Food colouring Sucker sticks Ice block tray Mix a few drops of food colouring in the jug with some water. Ferndale Nursery

I remember going to Ferndale nursery when I was little. I remember the slide and how you had to climb up the middle to the top, as well as the tractor. Jump 20 or more years forward and there’s still the slide and the tractor, as well as a whole bigger playground including a mini maze. Our favourite mid-week spot

I’ve been a mom for 8 months now and one of the things I’ve noticed is that often it’s quite a mission to find a restaurant that is baby/ toddler or child friendly.
