I love searching Pinterest for fun things to do with toddlers. Especially since I have limited ideas of what I can do with a very busy little boy. I stumbled on this idea – painting with coloured ice blocks and it was great.
You will need
- Water
- Jug
- Food colouring
- Sucker sticks
- Ice block tray
Mix a few drops of food colouring in the jug with some water. Pour it into the ice block tray, add a sucker stick and pop it into the freezer for a few hours or until it is frozen.
I put Noah in his high chair with some paper and in a nappy. I think food colouring may stain clothes. I then handed him a frozen ice block and he sat happily painting and tasting the ice block for about 30 minutes.
